Politecnico Calzaturiero, a customer success story

I am Mauro Tescaro, Technical Director of Politecnico Calzaturiero. I’m in charge of innovation and education. Politecnico Calzaturiero was founded in 2001, following the tradition of the Shoe Design School since 1923.

We offer educational programs, training and services for footwear companies. We are driven by constant innovation. We immediately understood the value of 3d technologies for the footwear industry. ICad 3D+ is a 3D design software for footwear, developed by the Spanish company Red 21.

Since the beginning of our collaboration with Red 21, in 2008, our customers have shown interest for 3D technologies. Nowadays customization is a key. ICad 3D+ allows to create multiple color combinations from a single model. Digitalization and sustainability are our main goals for the future. Our ambition is to make our territory the first one in the world to produce shoes sustainably.
