What’s new June 2025

CONFIGURATION

  • A shortcut option has been added for the layer change function of the selected entity, streamlining the assignment of entities to different layers within the workspace.

SHELL

  • When using the “swap lines” feature or applying a perpendicular mark, there is now the possibility to exclude all hidden layer lines from being displayed. New parameters have been introduced to provide complete control over how these tools operate:

– Ability to include or exclude hidden lines (this option also applies when swapping part lines).

– Distance for extending lines to determine whether they intersect or not.

– Maximum number of options displayed in the menu if multiple options are available. Setting this to 1 bypasses the menu and always selects the closest option

  • The option to preview the resulting image after applying rotation has been added, eliminating errors or uncertainties when setting height and width values.

PIECES

  • An option has been added to configure the lines and circles tool to display elements either inside or outside the part boundaries.

  • The ability to condition the application of festoons based on an initial and/or final intersection has been enabled.

  • A new option has been added to the piece data sheet, enabling the visualization of all project pieces, thus facilitating a more comprehensive and centralized review.

GRADING

  • The ability to enter negative values has been enabled in the “move” type scale modifier, thereby expanding the range of available adjustment options.

MATERIALS

  • A new filter has been introduced in the material selection popup, allowing materials to be filtered according to the categories of the currently active platform.

DESIGNS

  • An icon to refresh the active/selected combination image has been added.

– Thumbnail visualization has been added, similar to the materials view. This allows viewing as thumbnails in addition to the existing list format.

– A button to refresh the selected variation preview has been introduced.

– A button to toggle the visibility of unvalidated variations has been included.

DEFORMERS

  • CURVE: An option to reset the target curve (as previously implemented) or to maintain the existing curve has been added.

PLUGIN RENDER

  • The denoise option has been enabled for render previews.

  • Parameters have been added for:
    • Maximum time
    • Maximum and minimum samples

  • The dialog boxes for selecting background scenes for rendering, as well as the dialog for specifying the path to the .exe file, have been updated to enhance consistency and improve the user experience.
  • The 3D move and rotate tools have been enabled in the Icad Lancer Basic version, allowing users to perform basic spatial transformations on three-dimensional models.

TECHPACK

  • An option has been implemented to select the resolution for each type of preview, including image label previews.

GENERAL

  • Bug fixes and improvements.
