SHELL

Line smoothing functionality has been added to the Unfold Around Axis rotation mode. This enhancement enables a more continuous and visually accurate representation of geometries generated through this type of transformation.

A new context menu option has been introduced, allowing the creation of perpendicular lines at the marking points of the selected line(s).

MATERIAL

A dedicated editor has been introduced for modifying the texture (UV).
It enables simultaneous editing of multiple entities (such as pieces or meshes) that share the same material, streamlining texture mapping management in a more efficient and consistent way—similar to a nesting process.

Significant enhancements have been implemented in various functions related to component management, particularly in the processing of geometries.
Affected Operations and Tools
- PBrep duplication (including full undo support)
- Surface unwrapping and flattening
- Mesh separation based on selection
- Mesh duplication based on selection
- Mesh joining (Join Meshes)
- Mesh explosion into individual elements
- Deletion of edges, faces, and vertices
- Island selection
- And other related mesh manipulation operations

⚠️ Warning:

These improvements involve changes to the mesh and surface calculation logic that are not compatible with version 2024 of the software. Therefore, if a model is saved using version 2025 and subsequently opened in version 2024, the corresponding component will no longer be available in the model.

TECHPACK

Component images now appear in their dedicated window and can be managed in a manner consistent with other element types.
- A dynamic preview feature has been added, which can be converted into a static image via window capture, file selection, or image creation button.
- In 2D technical notes, component images can now be used in the same way as other element types.
- From the component data dialog, users can capture images directly from open views within the application.
- Images not used as previews can also be managed and viewed in an enlarged format via double-click. If no image is available, a file can be selected manually.
