Success story: Decathlon

A year and a half ago, Process Footwear launched the digital chain project.

Our goal? Product excellence.

By 2023, every new footwear product will be designed in 3D and will have usable digital data throughout its design.

Our designers conceptualise our future sports products in 3D. They can thus project their design intention quickly and collaborate instantly, immersed in virtual space without spatial or temporal constraints.

Through digital simluation tools, and thanks to the data collected from our athletes, our engineers master the design of footwear even more.

The result? Efficient collaboration with our industrial partners, more stringent requirements on the quality of deliverables for better control of the specifications, and production closer to demand.

The digital chain is a catalyst for efficiency. More 3D iterations, less physical prototypes for a more accurate response, more quickly.

Involving our community of athletes through 3D allows us to co-create more, and earlier in our design phase.

In short, we are more creative, and more agile. We increase our efficiency and our control, to design an offer ever more adapted to our athletes.
