Red21 drives a strategic agreement in India that strengthens the international expansion of Icad solutions

Red21, together with its Indian agent CMI Machines, has driven a strategic agreement with Kothari Industrial Corporation Limited (KICL) that will support the implementation of Icad solutions within one of the world’s most promising industrial footwear ecosystems.

KICL is an industrial group with strong production capabilities, established infrastructure and an active presence across the footwear value chain in Tamil Nadu, one of the country’s leading industrial hubs. This alliance reflects the sector’s growing interest in technological solutions capable of integrating development, engineering and production within real industrial environments.

The agreement includes the launch of Footwear Development Coaching Centres in India, aimed at advancing the digitalisation of development and production processes through structured professional training in technical footwear development, pattern engineering and production workflows based on Icad technology.

Through this initiative, the Red21 team will provide the technology, training framework and technical support required to integrate Icad solutions into industrial environments, bringing training closer to the production context and raising the sector’s technical standard.

This project lays the foundation for a sustained evolution of India’s technical footwear ecosystem and reinforces Red21’s role as a driver of international strategic partnerships that connect technology, industry and talent.
