A 3D footwear design and modeling software that brings you to a new dimension of collaborative design, more automated, integrated and hyper-realistic than ever before.
With a suite of tools and features tailored for shoe 3D modeling to make your process as seamless as possible, whether you're an experienced designer or just starting, you will get the resources and support you need, from footwear experts.
01
A reality that exceeds spaces
A new dimension in design, to transform ideas into reality, and to see them develop through space-time. With ultra realistic rendering to produce lightning-fast photorealistic images and videos of your footwear 3D models.
02
To share with your team, sustainably
With the aid of your cloud platform (Icad Workspace), your team can easily collaborate by uploading, sharing, and managing 3D models, components, accessories, materials, and prototypes, regardless of their location or the device they're using.
03
Some features
Line drawing on 3D last
Use the 3D last as a canvas to draw the style lines.
Creation of 3D pieces
Allows the creation, edition and management of 3D pieces. In addition, modelling tools are included to provide details to the pieces such as variable offset, padding and stitching.
Creation of PBR materials
Create and apply PBR materials on an existing model based on the
following maps: base colour, normal, metallicity, roughness, ambient
occlusion and opacity. In addition, they can contain all kinds of information
needed for management and production. Supported formats: .mtw .shm
.sbsar .xml .u3m.
Generation of combinations
Generates different material combinations on the same model.
3D last flattening even for moccasin
Allows to obtain and edit the flattening of a 3D last in a very precise way.
Creation of boot lasts
It allows to generate 2D and 3D boot lasts configuring all its parameters to
achieve a correct fit.
Connection of 2D pattern with 3D model
Allows the linkage of 2D pattern pieces with 3D model pieces to have all
the model information in the same file.
Automatic adjustment of the model to different lasts
Allows the automatic adaptation of a model in different lasts
The Subd polygon mesh editor
Allows modelling from scratch or editing any element of the mode
Photorealistic rendering
Produce lightning-fast photorealistic images and videos using the Cycles rendering engine.
3D model web viewer
Display the 3D models from any device on the ICad Workspace web
platform. The storage of the model will be totally free and limited to a period of time.
Web manager of 2D and 3D models
It allows you to use the ICad Workspace web platform with all its
functionalities thanks to a user account. Among many other functionalities,
it is possible to store models, visualize them and generate combinations.
Pieces library
It allows to store pieces and have them always accessible and classified to
be reused in other models.
Creation of accessories
It allows you to import and create accessories such as buckles, studs,
zippers to apply them very easily on the model. It also has a wizard for the
creation of laces
Creation of soles (and other footwear components)
Soles can be imported and adjusted automatically. Also, it is possible to
create soles and other components from scratch, by using the automatic
wizards or manually by modelling with surfaces or polygon meshes.
SubD polygon mesh editor.
Quad remesh
Allows to configure the remesh of any element of the model, either
generated in Icad or imported. It is used to edit the elements from the
polygon mesh editor or to drastically reduce the weight of the files.
Organic deformation editor
Allows to deform the model, any of its elements or the last. The most
frequent uses are to give a relaxed appearance, to make adjustments or to
modify the relief of surfaces.
Advanced module to design and modify 3D lasts
It allows lasts adjustments and generating new ones from existing lasts
with tools such as blending, rectifying or merging.
Compatibility with Substance Materials
Full support to modify the parameters of .sbsar materials generated with
Adobe Substance.
Exportation to standard 3D formats
Export the model in standard formats such as .obj, .stl, .gltf, .vrml.
Automatic filling of data sheets
It allows the generation of data sheet templates that will be automatically
filled in with the data and graphic information of each model.
Generation of manufacturing process documentation (Techpack)
It allows to generate technical sheets documenting the production process
step by step, as well as to calculate the cost of the model by specifying the
costs of materials and labors thanks to the BOM (Bill Of Materials) and BOL
(Bill Of Labors) respectively.
Cost calculation from 2D/3D model
It allows the flattening of the 3D pieces to make an indicative calculation of material consumption and cost of the model for those cases in which the pattern is not available.
Our training
Training courses are integrated as a fundamental and required part of every first license purchase of our solutions. Therefore, whether you have experienced or not, you will become a master in your Icad solution.
